Autumn likes to be held like a baby. She missed me after church.

So I got hair extensions!!

This is before.
After. Its pretty long I think. It is so thick also. I love it.
I curled it to see how it would do. The hair curls better than mine.

Sunday Dinners

Jarom and I can never seem to buy enough food for Sunday dinners. So after church we see what food we actually have and what can we make with it. One Sunday we happened to have some pork and onions. I made dumplings with flour water and salt. Yum. It actually turned out good. Do you like onions? Jarom loves them. He ate the whole thing.

Autumn seems to think she is welcome at the dinner table. She is faithful only to food. No she did not eat off my fork.

My 26th Birthday Weekend!!!

It started with my mom suprising me by coming to visit me for my birthday. I picked her up at the airport after a long day at work.

Miles for Better Smiles 5k Run

This is a bad picture but I forgot to eat breakfast before the run. We met Al and Whitney before to ride over together. Whitney was nice and gave me the other half of her banana. I felt weird taking her breakfast but she wanted me to eat it. Thanks Whitney!
That's weird, where is Jarom? Oh yeah, he decided 40 degree weather and really crazy wind was too much to walk the 1 mile he signed up for. He left for McDonalds. I didn't care. Al and Whitney couldn't beleive he ditched us all. Go Jarom!! His excuse was "it was too windy for Autumn". Meanwhile my mom is freezing by the bathrooms (they were blocking the wind) with a little sweater.

Here I am running past the pretty pond. What they didn't advertise is that we would run through dried mud and gravel first. It was the worse coarse ever.

I finished the race. This is the helper guy taking off my timing chip.

Somehow I finished 1st in my age division. I didn't meet my goal. I finished slower. I will blame it on the wind. (not really) This other girl that got 1st all around was so so fast. She left everyone in the dust.

I didn't know if I would do anything on my birthday cause Jarom is always busy so I palnned to get my hair dyed. I didn't know my mom would be coming. She came and shopped a little while I got my hair dyed. Then she watched. It took a little bit so she decieded to get her hair styled. It looked nice. I have been wanting some blonde back in my hair for a while. Brittany did a great job. Her husband goes to school with Jarom. She is so cute.

Birthday Lunch

For lunch my mom and I met Jarom and his family at Ramono's Macarroni Grill. I opened my presents there. Jarom's family got me this facial package at a spa that I had been wanting. Jarom got me a mini laptop. It is pink. I like pink right now. It is so small. I'm horrible about email and updating my blog because I never have my own computer. I always have to wait for Jarom to be home. I love it. It does everything a regular size computer does. Technology is awesome. Thankyou everyone for celebrating my birthday with me.
Jarom loves to tease Autumn.

Jarom's mom is so funny. I asked for a half gallon of ice cream and a package of oreos for my cake this year. This is what I got. She said it is every different kind they have available. I got sick the first night from eating way way way too much.

Mom and I waiting to pick Jarom up from school. He had to take his car in. It was making a funky noise.

My awesome computer. I love it.

So I decided to take my mom to the "new" to me resturant. We both enjoyed it. It was the last thing we did on the way to the airport. The funniest part is she put a hot pepper in her mouth thinking it was a bell pepper. She learned very quickly it wasn't. It was hard not to laugh. We were almost the only ones in the place and she was making a lot of noise. I enjoyed having my mom come for my birthday. Thank you mom. It meant alot!

Pho Huong Saigon

Our friend Al and Whitney have done more in vegas in the last 6 months than we have done in 6 years. They introduced us to a resturant that I love. The service is the worst. Or I should say it is different. It is so fun. I am getting better at using chop sticks. One time we ordered the wrong soup. Thats all we order is soup. The wrong soup has tendon and werid meat. In Jaroms we saw something that I could only compare the texture to tongue. Yuck. Only order the #11.

They also have a spring roll that is held together with rice paper. I love the peanut sauce.

Valentine Day

We decided to go out to dinner for Valentines Day. We love to go out to dinner.

We love to get desserts more than dinner. Actually I might be talking about just me. I love dessert! On the menu it says for 2 or more. We ate the whole thing. Yum. Its called the volcano.

The Lost City

Jarom's mom has wanted to go to the Lost City. It is pretty close to Vegas. I guess it was one of the 1st Mormon towns settled in the area. When they built the dam the city would be flooded. They built the dam as we all know. The city was under water for I can't remember how long. Now all the water is dried up and people can go out and check out the old ruins. It was fun. Sharon packed some snacks. In the above picture I found some weird metal thing that looked like an ab roller. It was fun to see all the houses that have lasted this long.
A bunch of (what ever that stuff is) has grown all over. You have to follow the trails in order to make it through the city. Of coarse Jarom's mom like adventure and was taking her own route. She is fun. She wanted to look at everything.

For one of my birthdays I really wanted a metal detector. Jarom got it for me. He is always looking for opportunities for me to use it. Living in Vegas there aren't many places to use it. We both thought the lost city would be perfect until we happened to notice the sign. We were bummed.

Jarom's face is so funny. After school he practices his guitar. He is getting pretty good. Don't you love the scrubs? Goes with the guitar right?

Autumn and I at the park. The weather is so nice here in the winter.

Over the break Autumn stayed with my in-laws. They went to their cabin and enjoyed the snow. They were not sure how Autumn would do with the snow. This video says it all. I love it. I watch it over and over.

San Antonio Sea World

For Chirstmas we went to Texas to visit my family. Jarom can only handle Weatherford for so long. We were suppose to be there 10 days. So we planned a little side trip to Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Dorias and Mark let us stay at their place. I loved watching the Killer Whale. I have never seen anything like this. We where in the splash zone. We didn't get splashed thankfully. The group in front of us got soaked. I had no idea they trained the whales to splash. It was crazy.

Fiesta Texas

This ride at Fiesta Texas was probably the best. The eightballs spin on a track. On the inside there is a stearing wheel to increase the speed you spin. Charles, Jarom and I where cranking on that wheel. We went so fast. Sometimes it would throw us. I laughed so hard it was painful. When the ride stopped we kept spinning. The kids around us said they wanted to ride with us. It was so cool.

My Plant

Several years ago my sister in-law, Kelli, bought me a plant. I didn't take good care of it but it was alive. I kept it on my kitchen table. Eventually Jarom knocked it off. It pulled off all the leaves. I decided to buy on that I felt was comparable to what mine should have looked like. That was over a year ago. Look at my plant now. It is getting out of control. I don't know what to do with it.

Snow in Vegas!

It snowed twice this week. Both times I was at work. It would have been so cool to be home in the PJ's with hot cocoa. Just my luck. In other parts of Vegas they closed down the freeways and the airports. The snowflakes were huge. I loved it.

Christmas Lights on a Cactus

We went out with some new friends, Al and Whitney, to a cactus garden behind the Ethel M. chocolate factory. It was crazy to see lights on cacti. We were trying to figure out who would take on a task such as this.
I'm a gingerbread man. If you walked by I bet I would not have been noticeable.

The Great Santa Run!!

This is part of my team. We were team "The Naughty List" The goal was to get the most amount of santas in one place at one time. We were competing with other countries. I don't think we won. I think there were about 8,000. It was awesome!
This is Jarom's mom and sister. I was excited to have them on my team.

Thanksgiving in Texas

For Thanksgiving I was in Texas with my family. My mom rented out this place called Jump Extreme. It a room full of jumping toys. I was in the inflateable boxing ring. Watch out!

Jarom being brave. He kept trying to get to the highest spot and jump off. I was suprised he didn't get hurt. I had no idea he was a dare devil! Thats not my bum in the picture (one of my nieces)
My brother, Robbie wanted me to check his pulse. He had just finished racing all the guys.

Jarom had so much fun. He actually did try to take me down this way when I was not looking.
My mom had all my siblings and family pose by this green wall. I think it brings out Jarom's smile. Haha!

Animal Park in Texas

How scary is this picture. Actually the one below. Jarom has a fear of ostriches due to some you tube video. At Thanksgiving we went to a wildlife park that you dive through. We decided to be brave and ride in the back of a truck. My crazy brother Charles decided to throw feed between Jarom's crossed legs. He jumped up so quick as the ostrich went for it. It was so scary. I think in this picture Charles was going to karate chop the thing. By the way 2 people in my family were bit by the ostriches.

Yuck!
The Giraffes were so cool. They were my favorite part. Their lips are a little slimy.
I think in this picture Jarom is feeding the zebras. There is a big sign that says "do not feed the zebras, they bite"

Charles dared me to eat one of the pellets of feed. It tasted almost like some diet food I have eaten in the past. Hopefully no pesticides.
