Thanksgiving Weekend

One of my nieces, we ate all the cream cheese dip. Yum Yum!

We had fun preparing the last of Thanksgiving dinner together. My mom basically did everything. Dorias had a really good recipe to try. Hopefully we can have it again next year cause it was really good. Grapes and pecans where in it. Yum to all Thanksgiving food!

Reagan's Blessing

My Brother Dan blessed his new baby girl named Reagan. She is so little. I was lucky enough to hold her til my arm was burning. (I am a little wimpy)

Jarom didn't bring a suit jacket. He borrowed my nephew's. Jarom is a little bigger than Matthew who is 16. I love Jarom's body language here. He couldn't relax his shoulders.

The twins kept mixing up Amber (my sister-in-law) and me. It was fun to mess with them cause they mess with us. They are only 5 but look identical. I don't try to learn their names cause its fun to get it wrong. They are funny little boys.

Let the Games Begin!

My mom mowed a kickball diamond and we divided into teams and played some serious kickball. Even my brother's dog ran the bases. I held Autumn a lot cause she kept getting so many stickers in her hair.
My sister-in-law got this hat and I loved it. So I had to get me one. Not that I will really ever get to wear it in Houston...cause its 80! Luckily it was freezing in Weatherford. Anyway it is a cupcake. I love it! Thanks Kelli for your style.

Jarom is sitting on the side lines. My brother Dan tossed the ball to Jarom and it had a few stickers in it that stabbed his hand. Ouch.

Thankful Thanksgiving Turkeys

Everyone has been writing all month the things they are greatful for. I felt left out so tonight we made turkeys out of construction paper. On each finger we wrote something we are greatful for. I was shocked Jarom was all for making a turkey. It was funny watching him get into it.
Finished product!

Pork butt went on sale....so we bought 8! We eat a lot of pork and beef for dinner since Jarom is allergic to bird. No biggy, it just gets pricey he informed me. We had to take advantage. I had to cut all the extra fat off. After cutting up 8 pork butts, I am now quick and consider it one of my new skills. I did feel like a plastic surgeon doing several tummy tuck. I kind of enjoyed it. Gross right?

I love this picture casue it was only November 14th when it was taken. I was running late getting ready for church. It was the coldest Houston has been all winter. I wanted to wear a warm sweater and a plaid skirt. Meanwhile Jarom is asking which tie to wear. I didn't have time. He wears the same one all the time anyway. I said just pick one. Then on the way to church I told Jarom that I look like I am dressed for Christmas and Thanksgiving hasn't even happened yet. He just sat there quietly. Then...then....as we walked into church I finally gave him some real attention. He was wearing a Christmas tie. I couldn't believe it. He said that I said to "pick one" So he did. I think normally I would have felt a little silly but instead I couldn't stop laughing. We looked like we where dressed for a Christmas program. Jarom makes me laugh so hard sometimes. He really is great.

Happy Halloween

I had to come up with a last minute costume and this was the best I could do. I went to a 'Trunk or Treat' activity with some of my nieces and nephews. We had fun getting so much candy. They are not very easy to trade with. They like their candy. :-)

Houston Zoo

I have nothing to say about this guy.
Spencer, my nephew, had fun waving at his mom as we rode by.

Nathan, on the left, is so good at wearing a hat. He found some glasses that morning (missing the lenses) and wore them almost the whole time at the zoo. I laughed every time I looked at him.

Our New Place

I want to find a few more things to add to our place but this is it so far.
