TEXAS ***Home Sweet Home***

I love all the flowers in Texas. The vacation wasn't initially suppose to be Texas. My parents invited me to travel to Europe with them for 2 weeks! A chance of a lifetime. Yeah right! Of all the times to travel to Europe a volcano decided to erupt. Bad timing! I am still grateful I was able to fly home to visit with my parents and some family. Thanks mom and dad!

My mom brought home 2 kittens. There was a special at the rock yard...buy a bag of mulch and get a free kitten. They are so little. They crawl up my jeans. I love animals!
Sitting around the table with family on a Sunday afternoon. I think we are waiting for dessert.

I killed a gopher dead!

I feel a little bad but I shot a gopher. My dad has always had problems with gophers. I saw one and ran and got his .22 rifle. It was crazy. I shot it on the 1st try. My dad and I both looked at each other surprised by my skills. I will spare you guys the bloody pictures.

Pasta!

Making pasta with my parents! I love home-made noodles. It is a family event. I ate 3 servings. So yummy!

Havin' Fun!

I finally had time to take my niece, Lauren, out to have some fun. We went to lunch, got pedicures, and went shopping...and if you know me well enough I had to get ice cream. We had fun! If only I lived in Texas I could do more with my nieces and nephews.

Do I fit in?

Everywhere I went with mom and Cookie, someone had to comment on how they matched. So I wanted to fit in too. Did I pull it off? Haha Mom!

Hiking in the Mountains in April

It is 80 degrees down in the city. We where shocked to see snow 3 ft. deep in some places.

Easter

I made an Easter cake. All I had was a zip-lock bag and a pair of scissors to decorate the cake. Skills right? It was way too sweet with the amount of frosting that was used.
